I grew up here in Mackay, and this community has always been home. I finished high school while competing in representative swimming and playing local rugby league, so being active has been a big part of my life from an early age. Those years taught me how important it is to move well, feel strong, and enjoy life without pain holding you back.
After school, I kept playing rugby while working at the Port of Mackay and later in the Bowen Basin coal mines. The physical nature of that work gave me a real understanding of what many Mackay families deal with every day — sore backs, tight shoulders, tired bodies, and the need to just keep going. I know what it is like to push through long days at work and still want to have enough left in the tank for family, sport, and everyday life.
That life experience is a big part of what led me into chiropractic. I wanted to come back home and help people in a practical, meaningful way. I went on to study chiropractic at Central Queensland University and graduated in 2018. Since then, I have been proud to care for people here in Mackay, helping active kids, busy parents, and hardworking locals feel better, move better, and stay active.
Opening my own clinic in the town that raised me means a lot to me. I have a strong focus on providing gentle, comfortable care that feels safe for children and supportive for adults. I also believe care should not stop when you leave the clinic, so I make sure patients go away with simple exercises and advice they can actually use in everyday life.
For me, chiropractic is about more than just helping someone get through the day. It is about helping families stay active, healthy, and able to enjoy life together.
